Introductions

This article is no fairy tale today. This magazine is taking a stand against the dangers of alcohol so expect a fight today. This article will feature all the necessary facts, figures and advice you will need to know to combat alcohol problems. The article will inform every one of the warning signs of alcoholism, the problems it causes to people and society and most importantly where one can get advice if problems do arise. Welcome to the world of alcoholism observed under a high powered microscope and reveal the ugly truth of the world’s most popular drink.  Be warned this will be ugly but is the direct truth and the help one may need is there to.

I have created a third person introduction on alcohol abuse. The summary introduction has allowed me to inform the reader of what the article will contain and the tone I have used is very dark and very sinister. This narrative style is very serious and very formal so probably would not appeal to a younger audience as it will be boring to them. The long sentences will bore them and it may contain too much detail for them.  If the sentence structure was shorter and the article was in first person it would be a lot more effective towards the target audience of younger readers.

Curves/Levels and Cross Referencing
This is my first example of cross referencing. I have used an adjustment layer to change the curves of the image. I have changed the reds and blues to S shapes to  add and remove the colours from dark and light areas. With green i have just added to higlights and removed it from the dark areas. to finish the image and add the retro effect by adding a layer of solid green and lowering the opacity.
This is example 2 of  cross- referencing except it has used a solid yellow layer instead of a solid green layer.

Vampire Tutorial + Zoe (spot removal)
this is my attempt to create a vampire effect using the sponge tool, magnetic lasso and warp effect. it is near enough ok bar one of the teeth that I was unable to fix. To start the transformation i have used the burn tool to darken the areas around the eyes and the sponge in desaturate to turn the model grey.and give her an undead appearance. i have then used the make the tteth long as lastly used the brush tool to reden the eyes.

Zoe- spot removal
This is Zoe. before I editied the image Zoe has spots all ove rher face. i have used the spot heal tool to remove and cover some of the spots. to do this i have used the spot heal tool and used alt-click to select a bit of her face that does not have acne and replaced spots with a copy of the better skin thus hiding the spots.
